A word from the Owners of the Venue for States

I know there is some discussion about the drive time at that time of year (which by the way hwy 42 is an easy drive, and is often BETTER in conditions than the southern half of I-5!), but I thought a message from the owners of the venue would be helpful in making that final decision to come in January:

John and June (the Owners of Stray Katz) are completly closing their diner and bar to the public for the weekend. The entire establishment belongs to RDPL!! What this means is even more personal service to the players, bartenders at your beck and call, wait staff just waiting to wait on you and...(get ready for it!)...after the events conclude each night they will have a live blues/classic rock band or DJ (depending the night) and we can continue on as a private party for the rest of the night!!

They are so excited to have you all that they have elected to do this since they feel it is in OUR (the league and players) best interest and they want to make it the best time you will ever have over here!

I truly hope to see you all in January, and I can not wait to go to(Eugene? Roseburg? Grants Pass? Medford? Klamath? Cayonville? another cew city?)another city for states in April!!
The greatest thing about this league is how it brings us all together even from different areas of the state -- Lets take advantage of it and lets really take advantage of what John & June and the rest of the Crew at Stray Katz has in store for us!

Where are some good hotels to stay at?

I know some of Klamath will be there.
