This league is suppose to be for people to get together and have fun playing cards. There are way too many people that have to get all riled up because someone beat them at a hand or took them out. They call the other person names or make a big fuss about how they shouldn't have even been in the hand or played those cards. It is each players right to play whatever cards they are dealt for as much as they feel like. They don't feel bad taking someones chips when the other player plays dumb cards, so shut up when their dumb cards beat you. Obviously, their cards weren't that dumb. Duh. I had someone tonight go all in and I called him. He only had 4-2, off suit even. I beat him with a Queen and he wouldn't shut up about it all night. There are people in several towns that do this. If the TD can't control them we could end up having some fights. I myself don't like anyone talking crap at or about me at the tables, or even away from them. One such person has been warned to stop it and he did. Others are going to end up causing trouble some night.

I have to agree Doc, I know Doc sometimes plays or calls with cards I usually fold, but its the way he plays, last night a couple of players got a little to mad about it, you don't have to like it, and you can discuss it but there is a limit to what you say, or how you say it. I have seen these same players play funky hands too. name calling and berating a player only causes bad feelings.

there are players that like all kinds of funky hands, like K-5 seems to be a favorite of several players in the league..yeah its dominated by like 30 other hands, A-8, A-9
both terrible starting hands but a lot players love these 2 hands, both are dominated buy most pocket pairs and A-10 through A-K. and what do you do if an ace pops up and someone bets hard. you can't like your A-8 because your outkicked by 6 other cards.

how many times have I heard deuces never looses....more like hardly ever holds up, is way more like it. I would rather play A-2 or k-2 that way if I hit my 2 I have a good kicker..LOL

also going on and on and on and on and on....., you get the idea, about someone playing what you consider to be a bad hand and beating your pocket pair or A-K, is poor sportsmanship and should be stopped. one player in GP is really bad for this, good player bad sport sometimes...I won't mention names but his initials are JOSH...ooops

also I had my pocket tens crushed by 6-2 after I raised and the other player re-raised I called and he hit a straight.

look the facts are if you play bad starting hands..and Doc k-4 is a bad starting hand, you will lose with it more than win, and the players who play solid hands consistently will win more than lose with those hands, the point standings show that month after month quarter after quarter lucky streaks and cold streaks not withstanding.

so to sum it up, its free poker were all having fun, shake your head go oh man...losing that hand sucks, then drop it before someone does get into a fight, violence solves nothing.

i agree several player make comments about how my wife plays, she plays things i wouldnt ,but like i tell them she wins so it works. i play pretty tight but we both are in he top ten.maybe the people who fel aeed to run others play down should try my trick, play online yell at the bad beats and suckouts on the computer, without chat just the monitor, noone hears it and they can still vent.it is easier to take a bad beat in live play that way.
